New Sessions

These new sessions were all created for the Shalom Hartman 2019 summer programs. Last summer we were still mourning the passing in December 2018 of Amos Oz – this special keynote lecture may be perfect for people who love the great author’s writing as well as for those who need an introduction.


The tension between critic and loyalty inspired the other three lectures. They will help learners embrace a nuanced language when dealing with a less than perfect Israel alongside our commitment to it.
